Staci and Nathan Engagement Session | Buena Vista Park, California

Staci and Nathan are the CUTEST couple! Staci with her beautiful wavy blonde hair is a little more outgoing and giggly, while Nathan is a little more quiet and reserved. For their engagement session we met at Buena Vista Park Vista, California. I guess it’s just called “the duck pond” to locals 🙂 I had never been to this park before so, naturally I was very excited to explore a new place! As a wedding and engagement photographer, I truly enjoy finding new spaces to be creative and roam. This location was incredible! There are beautiful trees which allow the sunlight to just peek through the leaves, creating magical, dreamy lighting. We got to play in the bright yellow wild flowers which blanketed the landscape and found stunning twisted dead tree trunks.   We had so much fun on this shoot walking around and venturing off path to get some really great shots! I can’t believe the color of the wild flowers, boy did we luck out?! They brought along some really cute props for the shoot- a red flannel blanket and some adorable wooden signs (pictured below). They are both fun and are up for anything- I cannot wait until their wedding in November! They will be getting married at the Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos, California. My favorite part of the day was stumbling upon the huge dead tree, it made a perfect backdrop for our photos and really added a cool artsy vibe 🙂 what do you think?! Please feel free to leave a comment below, I always love your feedback! If you would like to check my availability, shoot me an email through my contact page. Hope you are having a wonderful day! xx
