Erika and Shawn Twin Oaks House and Garden Estate Wedding | San Marcos, California
When I saw Erika on her wedding day, she took my breath away. The only words I could seem to say were, “you look like a mermaid!” Little does she know, in my eyes, that’s literally the BEST compliment I could ever give someone (I’m a little obsessed with mermaids lol) She looked so beautiful I could barley stand it, and her groom was so super handsome and charming as well- I knew it was going to be a great day. Erika chose the “shabby chic” style wedding and she pulled it off without a hitch. She had wild flowers throughout her wedding and used chalkboards and burlap to seal in the common thread. Everywhere you looked there were little personalized photos and mementos of Erika and Shawn’s love. I thought it was so cute they used a birdcage to collect the cards at the wedding. Twin Oaks House and Garden Estate is such a gorgeous venue! There are little pathways throughout the garden and old statues and butterflies and and and… let me just tell you, the place was amazing! Favorite memory from this wedding: This wedding put the “party” in “bridal party” I have to say this was one of the wildest and fun bunch of people! Made me wish I was a guest, not working haha!! Everyone was out on the dance floor shaking it, even the grannies!
