Hey there!
That’s me, Mary in that picture over there.
I’m the photographer, editor, blogger, accountant, and all around boss lady here at MKL images.
I was born in Carlsbad, California and have been living that cool, coastal lifestyle ever since. I love where I live and I love what I do- the only thing in my life to rival my love of photography, would be my husband and 3 boys. Yes, THREE boys! I am fortunate enough to have 4 amazing men in my life, my husband David, my oldest son Brody, and my twins Connor and Dean. I have been running my photography business in San Diego for a number of years and I can safely say It’s the best job on earth! I have been pretty successful through the years and have been featured in various magazines and blogs and have won a number of awards for my photography (not to toot my own horn but,,,,TOOT TOOT!)

Are you LEGIT?
I’m SO glad you asked! LOL! Yes, I have 13+ years experience as a professional photographer. I’m a certified, insured, business license carrying, tax paying photographer with a college degree in digital photography- this is my REAL, full-time job.
What services do you offer? Is it just photography?
MKL Images is happy to provide you with a number of different services including Videography, Photo Booth, Content Creation, and even Custom Albums
Do we need an engagement session?
If you live locally and I’m going to document your wedding, I would strongly urge you to get an engagement session with me. An engagement session is the BEST way to break the ice with each other and iron out all the little quirks of getting professional photos done of yourselves. Let’s face it, getting your photos done can be super awkward and straight up uncomfortable for some people (Hi, I’m actually one of those people!) I will show you how FUN photos can be and show you how amazing you really are! Awkward people are my jam, so let’s get all the jitters out before the big day- that way you can actually be excited to see me on at your wedding instead of freezing up when I arrive!
